Your wedding day is clearly one of the most important days of your life, but it can also often be one of the most expensive. As a result not only do brides today enjoy a far broader choice of color for their bridal dress but, much more importantly, doing away with the train and veil and the requirement for a full length dress means that brides can make their selection from a range of far simpler bridal gowns.

For those of us who need to key a close eye on costs this is great as informal bridal gowns are also much cheaper than the full traditional white wedding outfit. Another important point here is that the move away from the traditional white wedding gown also means that you no longer have to purchase your dress from a specialist bridal outfitter who, not surprisingly, will charge you a premium price simply for the service which is provided or for the brand or name which you are purchasing. It is a bit like a pair of training shoes � you can buy two all but identical pairs of shoes and pay nine times more for one pair simply because of its brand name. There has certainly never been a better time to go shopping for your bridal dress and the choice available today in terms of style, color and supplier is enormous.

It is no longer that difficult to find reasonably cheap bridla gowns and still end up looking like a million dollars in the dress of your dreams.
